Dear PCF Supporter,

Thank you for your commitment to our work; your loyal support is invaluable! We are grateful to be able to continue to provide scholars with a scholarship and the wraparound services (1:1 adult mentoring, career trainings, internship support) and resources to succeed. It is the combination of graduating and securing post-graduate employment for first-generation students that helps break the cycle of poverty and increases students’ capacity to uplift themselves and their communities for generations to come.

I am writing today to ask for your partnership in support of our 2023 Fall Fundraiser on Thursday, October 19th. As a result of your generosity in 2022, PCF will award 85 scholarships this year. We have set a goal to raise $400,000 to advance our mission and support even more scholars in 2024. We are proud to partner with many of the Bay Area’s philanthropic leaders, and we’d be honored to be included on the list of organizations that you support.

The Peninsula College Fund was founded to close the educational achievement gap, one promising student at a time. Since 2005, PCF has provided college and career success services to 530+ aspiring first-generation students from San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Our mission is clear; we are looking to build strong communities that can thrive for generations to come. Providing access to education, businesses, and professionals has the potential to lift families out of the poverty cycle so that they too have the opportunity to contribute to our collective community.
